God is SO GOOD!

Sorry I have been silent for a few weeks but the Lord is keeping me moving! I have been waiting on the Lord and He has provided. Psa. 27:14 Wait for the Lord; Be strong, and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord. He is GOOD and has given me a long term volunteer position with Scripture Union of Uganda. Here is some information about Scripture Union and what I will be doing with them. I’ll keep you posted as I am in facilitator training this week and then on to youth camp on Friday for 6 days.
Who is Scripture Union?
Scripture Union of Uganda (SU) is part of the worldwide family of Scripture Unions that operates in over 130 nations of the world.
Scripture Union of Uganda’s Vision is Children and Youth following Jesus, filled with hope, transforming the families and Nations of Africa.

SU Uganda is a non-denomination, Christ-centered, Non Governmental Organization (NGO) linked to the global family of Scripture Union, which was founded in 1867. They work in partnership with schools, colleges, and churches throughout Uganda.

SU strives to nurture children, youth and their families through the Bible so that they may follow Jesus Christ and be instrumental in transforming Africa. SU encourages and supports primary and secondary schools to create SU Clubs (Bible Clubs) in their schools. In the Clubs, SU volunteers are student leaders focus on the following:

1.Discipleship
2.Evangelism
3.Life Skills Education
4.Bible Reading

SU also organizes yearly children and youth camps and conferences throughout the country. They work with local area churches to encourage people of all ages to meet God daily through Bible reading and prayer so that they may come to a personal faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, grow in Christian maturity and become both committed church members and servants of a world in need.
