Tuesday Night Bible Study Update

Upon my return from Scripture Union training in Kampala and SU Camp at Mwiri, we were able to gather on the 4th of May. This time we had six of us in the Lord’s presents to study His word. We were very Blessed to have Auntie Jacqui back with us from the U.K. and Pastor Michael Otim from Soroti, Uganda. Pastor Otim stands about 6’5” and is a large opposing man but his has such a gentle and kind spirit about him you forget about his stature. He is a Prophet for the lord so having him led us in study was a real treat!
He spoke to us about Testimony, using Matthew 3: 16 -17 and Luke 4: 18-19. There are 4 points that he made; having our own testimony, what our own sacred message from God is, testifying for the Lord, and never having doubt about our testimony. So just like Christ’s testimony of who He was in Isaiah 61 1-2 we should allow the Holy Spirit to use us.

The message was great but what was amazing was when we all joined hands to pray. Otim began to pray and the Holy Spirit fell like rain upon the room. I was holding Jacqui’s hand and I could feel her shaking. I began to cry as Otim spoke to me about accepting the Lord’s river for my dry spell. He said Rita say yes and accept and I did. The boys, David, Rock and Robert received anointing. Then the Holy Spirit fell upon Jacqui and she began to feel all of God’s grace and anointing on her. All I can say is wow, what a night!!
