The Lord’s Plan
The Lord’s Plan
I love it when the Lord puts me in a place and guides me to do something that only He knows about and I have no idea what his plan is for me. That is the case of two days the early April.
On Wednesday, April 7th, I was at a meeting at the church and in passing Pastor Frank mentioned that I should attend the Equip Leadership Training on Friday and Saturday. He told me a bit about it and showed me the workbook to glance at. After viewing it I thought the training would be a great class for me. I’ve taken leadership classes before, but this one was Biblically based. So, I signed up and paid my fee for the food.
On Friday morning I arrived at 8am, just as Frank had indicated, but you know Africa things start later then they say all the time. I should be used to that by now, but being a Muzungo I showed up on time. The Lord Blessed me with time to talk to Senior Pastor and do my devotional for the day…all good! I wasn’t sure what I was getting into with this training, but after the first lesson I realized the Lord had me there to teach me and show me His plan for my future.
The Lord wanted me to write down new goals for the next 5 years. I remember doing my top 7 life goals about 7 years ago and with God’s grace I had accomplished all but one of them. Since then I hadn’t started my new “Life List Goals”. It was now time to write my top 7 “life list goals” again for the next 5 years of my life. I love when God shows me what He has next for my life. Thank you God!
