SOAR Youthz School Sponsorship

SOAR

“Hope manifests itself in different ways. For these youth is going to school”

SOAR Youth Program

We believe that within all young people is greatness. Every young person in Uganda and beyond should have the self-belief and resiliency to fulfill their highest potential and dare to dream.

As a SOAR Youth Program Sponsor, you are connected with one special youth in our program that will know your name, write to you and feel your tender love and prayers. The SOAR Youth are either orphaned or vulnerable and come from very poor and needy families in the Masaka Region. Your monthly School Sponsorship gift goes directly to the Youth’s educational fees and school requirements for a school term. If you decide to become a Youthz School Sponsor today you will make a difference in transforming a youth’s life!

The funds provided will not only give them their basic school fees, but also school requirements; notebooks, pens, pencils, art supplies, school meals, and other school requirements. You may also choose to be a Residential Sponsor for a youth’s daily needs and upkeep! If you choose to do so please advise the Director via e-mail. Thank you! The below SOAR Youthz Need School or Residential Sponsorship:

Meet the Sponsorship Youthz

Daisy Naleeba is our NEWEST youth! She is 19 years old and was born in Mbarara, but when she was still small her mom and dad moved to Kampala. While in Kampala her parents separated and her father took her to the village of Kakundi in Rakai District to be raised by his mother, she was less than a year old. Her father stayed in touch for a few years, but since has died. She has never seen her mother again. Her grandmother, Maude, who is now 79 years old raised her the best she could and got Daisy through Primary 7 (elementary school). She has been working since in and around Masaka trying to help herself and her grandma out. In November she replaced Uncle William as the compound maintenance and security person at my home. She also resides in the girl’s quarters at my home. She started evening classes in February 2026 at Masaka Adult Literacy to retake her Primary 7 classes and exams. She continues to work at my home, so she can earn money for herself and her grandma.
