American Tour

The last month and a half I was on my American Tour! It has been wonderful to speak to people and church congregation about what the Lord is doing in Uganda! I’ve been in Colorado, Indiana, and California. Thanks to the Lord, family and frequent flyer miles I’ve been able to travel to and fro, across the U.S.

During my time in Colorado I was able to attend my brother’s church in Woodland Park, CO. I was also able meet up with an elder of that church to speak to him and his wife about what is new with my life this year and how the Holy Spirit has been moving in my life since we spoke last year. Both he and his wife were moved to tears to hear all that the Lord is doing in Uganda and through my life. When I returned to Woodland Park, for my final time in Colorado, I was humbly blessed by this elder to speak at his discipleship class. It was such a Blessing to speak to almost 40 people about how the Holy Spirit has changed and worked in my life and is working and changing Masaka, Uganda!

While in Indiana God allowed me to speak at two sponsoring churches of Faith, Hope, Love Missions. The first was my Mom’s church, in the small town of Harlan, IN, which I grew up outside of. It was a special treat to be able to be with the church congregation that I had grown up with. So many of the members of the congregation are like grandparents to me. I was humbled that the pastor of the church allowed me to preach that day and also speak about ALL the projects FHLM has been involved with this past year. Through the congregation’s Love Offering, FHLM is now able to get the boys of the project beds, as they have been sleeping on mattress on the floor. Again the time with them was such a Blessing on SO many levels!!

The following Sunday, I was able to be at my Dad’s church, outside of Fort Wayne, IN. I was also able to share the FHLM video, this time with the adult Sunday School class. As before I was Blessed to just be able to talk to people about what God is doing in Masaka. I thank the great pastoral staff and administration for allowing me to speak to their church members.

Many amazing things happened during my 10 days in San Diego, California! God has really impacted my life with a book I picked up about George Muller’s life. It has taught me that through a life a constant prayer God will provide for EVERYTHING if we are in His will and just ask!! I also had such wonderful news from my home church, Maranatha Chapel. Maranatha has officially approved me as a missionary and they are officially my sending church!!! That in turn has allowed for ALL donations that will be sent to FHLM to be Tax Deductible. It is so AWESOME how God works! I’ve certainly been in awe of Him in the last month and ½! Thanks to everyone for their continued prayers. It is not easy being on or off the mission field and your prayers are felt!!
